I have thick, dry, course red hair....and want an emo sort of cut...what should i do??

I have REALLY thick red hair that is extremely course. I tried using many different products and have had my hair thinned and layered but it still looks frizzy and curly/wavy. The top is wavy and the ends curl a lot. i have tried straightening it and have used leave-in conditioners but it still looks frizzy and puffy. I really want an some sort of emo look that looks good on me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

just straighten your hair!thats basically the good emo look....anyways heres a good healthy way for a frizz free and nice straightend hair look

1.get a trim.

2.warm up some olive oil and put in hair with a shower cap and sleep in it.[extra virgin olive oil is the best]

3.when you wake up wash it out dont use a lot of shampoo though and use kinda a lot of conditioner leave in for 5minutes then wash out.[good shampoo and conditioner is shampoo:Instant Moisture Daily Shampoo by Paul Mitchell and conditioner Instant Moisture Daily Treatment by Paul Mitchell]

4.towel dry a little bit and put in some protein leave in condition I'll tell you the best thing in the world is [Extreme Anti Snap-Redken]

It has all the proteins you need for your hair. Then while your hair is still damp put in some serum so your hair doesnt get huge since your not blow drying it.The best serum to put in is [Super Skinny Serum-Paul Mitchell]

5.let your hair air dry.when its done put some thermal protection i reccomend using a serum that has heat protection like [Smooth Down Heat Glide-Redken]

6.Get a good ceramic straightener thats ceramic and do not use conair,or the wet 2 dry ones.Chi is the best but its very expencive but find a good one at a salon that costs 60$ so your not spending too much.[Bedheads flat iron works good]

7.when your done straightening it put some Sunsilk Hydra TLC 24/7 creme in your hair and then put some gloss drops in your hair by Paul Mitchell.

Sorry to say but emo hair is impossible for anyone with naturally thick or wavy hair. If you cant normally tame your hair easily, dont even attempt it.

Whatever happens do NOT razor cut or have someone thin your hair again! (thinned hair only looks good on hair that is naturally thinnish and straight - and thinned/layered hair that is wavy or thick will only get poofier and frizzier as it grows out). I am very serious about this lol I have thick hair too and its taken 4 years to finally grow all that razored frizzle out.!

Your best bet is to start your own new style, forget the emo hair, and let it all grow out. Dont fight your hair's texture- work with it. Put product in it to help it curl, not to try to tame it. Try maybe putting it into two pigtails on top of your head, do some braids, or just let it go wild and put it back in a headband.
