Does coconut oil grow hair?

today I got a bad haircut, the lady totally didn't know what she was doing. No cheap haircut for me ever again!!!!!!!!!!! I'm mad at that women for messing up my hair!! she put like layers everywhere, made my hair thin, and really short layers like up to my ears in the back. I need to grow my hair out, and its my third time getting a bad haircut! Does not washing your hair help it grow? Does coconut oil help it grow fast? how many times a week should I put it on? or do you have any ideas for what I should do

I don't know for sure if coconut oil does anything other than make hair smell nice, but I can tell you for absolute sure that if you take one egg yolk, 1/2 cup mayo, 1/4 cup warm olive oil, and rub it in your hair once a week, leaving it in your hair for at least two-three hours, wearing a shower cap, then wash it out, and rinse hair with 2cups warm water with 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, your hair will definitely grow and grow healthy and beautiful. It's worked for me for 50 years!

Does coconut oil grow hair?

well i'v been using coconut oil on me hair for some time now and I tired a store bought bottle and i also made my own. it doesn't seem to be working for hair growth. The home made one does make my hair appear thicker and is a great conditioner, but i have no luck in making my hair grow.

Does coconut oil grow hair?

you dont have to take my advice, but atleast read my experience.

After using loads of shampoos that claim to make your hair grow quicker, healthier etc I realised it only made my hair thinner, brittle, and weaker due to the harsh chemicals.

I decided to go natural, because natural is best - no harsh chemicals, not expensive, long lasting results. I find that massaging coconut oil into your hair and leaving it over night atleast twice a week promotes new hair growth. Also drinking water and having a healthy diet including 5 veg n fruit.

However, the speed at which your hair grows depends on a number of factors one of those being genetic. Your hair will probably take 4-6months to grow out properly because an average it will grow at is 1/2 an inch a month and if you try to speed up the process you might regret it. Take supplements however, they will nourish your hair.

As for now, try new hairstyles or things to disguise the hairdo or dye it a darker colour to make it appear thicker and healthy.
