I have been thinking about getting a perm but my hair is thick if I do get a perm, afterwards will it thin out?

i just got my hair permed about 2 weeks ago

and the lady at the salon said that it was the thickest hair she had ever seen!

so i know where you are coming from!!

and so far my hair does not feel thinnner or thicker it feels the same-it just has more body and wave to it

and by the way--before you get it permed you might want to take a picture of your desirerd look to your hair salon because those beauticians get scissor happy!!

No it won't..and for me it seemed like my perm very went away. It kinda just grew out and became wavy/large curls

do not ruin your hair with a perm, it will make your hair even thicker and permanently frizzy and dry for the rest of your life

No wtf!! Why would it do that! Your hair is thick because you have a lot of hair and unless your planning on getting a perm thats gonna make your hair fall out then you'll be fine!

I WISH!! i have really thick straight hair and am often times told that i have the thickest straight hair people have ever seen..and i once had my hair permed and when it went away it was just still as thick :(
