Hair help?!?!?

If you condition your hair twice a day everyday, will it make your hair thinner??

Hair help?!?!?

Are you trying to make your hair thinner? Conditioning twice a day will make it appear more limp, less volume - but most likely in a greasy or dull way, not a healthy shiny way!

When you over wash your hair (conditioning or not) you run the risk of making it extra greasy or extra dry (depending on your own chemical make-up). If you are prone to greasy hair, overwashing only stimulates extra oils to be produced - making the problem worse! If you are prone to dry hair, overwashing washes away what natural oils were there and leaves you waiting even longer for your slow oil production to bring back some shine.

If you really want to give your hair a good conditioning, think quality and not quantity! Whatever conditioner you use is fine, but instead of using it 14 times a week (I am shocked lol) - use it 2 or 3 times a week (every other day at MOST) and leave it in for a longer period of time. I usually shampoo, rinse well, then put in the conditioner and leave it there as I shave, scrub my body, wash my face, etc - rinsing the conditioner out at just before I turn off the water.

In extreme cases, such as after bleaching my hair, I will actually shampoo, rinse, then put in the conditioner and turn off the water for awhile. Go watch TV for 10-15 minutes and then get back in to rinse it off. This way I get a really deep penetration of the conditioner without overwashing my hair!

Hair help?!?!?

No, just limper from too much product in it.

Hair help?!?!?

No, it won't make it thinner just flat. Don't condition twice a day! Your technically only supposed to condition your hair 3-5 times a week.

Hair help?!?!?

washing your hair too much will make it dry so wash it every second day 3 times a week

Hair help?!?!?

no. if it's a good conditioner, but I would like to know why you have to condition it so often.Washing and conditioning hair once

a day should be enough.

Hair help?!?!?

Technically, it shouldn't. However, over conditioning can make the hair limp-ish feeling. Perhaps, re-assessing your hair and it's needs is what's necessary.
