My cat has thin hair above her eyes, is this normal? Otherwise she appears to be healthy...?

She eats well and is playful, no scratching. We have not had a cat in a long time so just checking.

That's normal. hair like that will ruin sounds by absorbing a lot of it, so hair near the ears is often thinner. Nothing to worry about unless the skin there doens't look healthy.

Yep, it's normal. Both of my cats have that and they're both very healthy. Also, one of my cats has freckles that you can see through the thin hair. My guess is that the hair is thin because the cats' ears are folded forward when they're born.

If the SKIN in that area looks healthy, no flaking, redness, scabs, etc. thinning hair there is not necessarily a problem. But do point it out to your vet at her annual check up just to be sure.

Yes. Ecspecially if she is old

It's normal. I noticed it more on my black cat.

Totally normal. I have a 13-year-old who is (thank god) very, very healthy. She's always had thin spots over her eyes.
