What is the best drug store shampoo I can buy for fine, thin, colored hair?

I have been using Halo shampoo for fine, thin, colored hair and have found it is way too expensive to continue use. I need advice on what would be comparable at a local Walgreen's, etc.

nothing at walgreens is comparible to halo! it's one of the best out there. i do agree it's one of the most pricey, halo is made by graham webb who also makes back to basics. back to basics is much less expensive, they have lots of options, they all smell great, and they all work great

I have really fine, straight hair with red and blonde highlights -- I have been using Herbal Essences for colored hair as well as John Frieda blonde products -- both available at all drug stores and pretty cheap.

I also splurge on my expensive brand and use that every few weeks in between or when I first get the color done and then the cheap stuff. My colorist always comments on how the color lasts well in my hair...

Clairol Herbal Essences is the best shampoo. In blind testing, low-priced drugstore shampoo like Herbal Essences is shown to clean just as well as expensive salon brands. Herbal Essences comes in a variety of formulas, but some experts note that although these formulas are labeled differently, they have nearly identical ingredients, except for some variance in plant extracts, which don't have any effect on hair. Although Herbal Essences has a dandruff-control formula, experts say Head %26amp; Shoulders works better for those with dandruff.
