I am considering hair extensions (weft/braided type). Can this be damaging to hair when removed?

I have had them in before and when they were removed I had a lot of hair fall out with them leaving my hair thinner than before. I did not have damaged hair before so I don't believe it was breakage. Is this a common? They braided very tight when she put them in and I am wondering if that wasn't the reason of the hair loss. Can anyone help?

Well my hair never breaks off. It grows a lot.

if you had split ends when you took them out then did she snip your braids when she was done? If so she probably cut YOUR hair when she did this.

Make sure the braids arent too small. When they are too small it pulls on your hair and makes your hair fall out.

Get the glue on ones because any real ones will make your hair fall out no matter now careful you are
