i have super thick hair..and i hate it! it's just hard because it takes me easily over an hour to blow dry it and curl or straighten it. after my wedding i finally got it really thinned out, and cut it all off. :)
i like it so much better now...
BUT, it is true that you can do a lot more with thick hair, style wise

Thinner hair is definitely easier and quicker to style. However, personally I think if you take the time to do thick hair the end result will look a lot better than someone with thin hair.

idk but I know I have VERY thick hair and whenever I wash it I always wind of using a whole bottle of shampoo and one time I tried to comb it out but I broke the comb also when I eventually finish it looks like a huge fro but when I get it done it always looks nice :)

for me, if it would be thick, it should be kinda short so it will be easy to maintain.
