My name is Ryan and I'm having severe problems with my hair. I've permed my hair, but after I wash it, it goes back to curly and the only way to straighten it out is to blowdry it (and I end up having to blowdry it every day). What can do use in the future to keep this from happening.

Also, is it possible for guys to get their hair thinned? I've got really thick hair and I've been thinking of getting it thinned for a while. My gf wants me too anyway. Any tips?

In the future, to get body in your hair don't perm it with a tight curly perm rod. Try just a slight body wave. :0

Yes-boys can get their hair thinned..but be careful if you permed hair and then--could get frizzy.

black people use perms to make their hair straight, white ones do it to make it curly, so it depends on your race. get it thinned out it will make it lay down more.

A perm does go back to curly after you get it wet. Sounds like you permed it too tight for your liking! Yes go to the hair salon and get it thinned!

well they have thinnning serum at the stores so check that out, and you can cut it short but like layered-ish which makes it thinner. for girls at least. hope that helps

Perming it caused some damage and i know its not what you want to hear but i would start over with a buzz cut.

well yo can use a strating comb or sratinig ion and cut your ends so it doent brack off
