Scene Hair?

ok, i have kinda thick hair but i still want a scene haircut

i dont know if i can pull it off though since im going to blow dry it and add gel which is going to make it bigger. i need a scene haircut that will work with my thick(ish) hair.

Yes, i do accept pics.

i would get my hair thinned out but as it would grow in my hair would look stupid.

Scene Hair?

Nahhhhhh if you thin it, it grows out fine.

I'm not getting pics cause thats a little creepy, but.... tell the hairdresser that you want:

To leave your bottom layer its length.

Get ALOT short jagged layers on the top

++Get a fringe (either side, or front)

Scene Hair?

Alot of layers, I have short top layers and then the rest of my hair is long.. I see alot of scene people wearing it like that..

Scene Hair?

leave the bottom layer as it is, and get choppy layers on top, i tend to jus straighten the bottom layer and blowdry the top.

Scene Hair?

Are you kidding? Thick hair is no problem for scene hair. (It means possibly less teasing... yay!)

The haircut doesn't make the style, as a side note. It only help you achieve the look. The real secret is in the styling itself. Go here and watch the video:

Ask for lots of short, choppy layers. All the layers will thin out your hair naturally. Also be sure to let them know you want to keep as much length to your hair as possible. When you blow dry, blow dry in two sections to make it easier on yourself. Blow dry the bottom half with the dryer pointed straight down, and tug your hair down with one hand as you blow dry, to get it as straight as possible. When you blow dry the upper-half (shorter layers) tug the hair sideways or straight up.
