i have the same problem, very fine, thin hair. I got a really cute funky short cut, then i blow dry it smooth and have just kind of learned to accept my lack of volume and found a style that works for me. The back is really short so I can spike it up with a gel or pomade. The front and sides are longer and i keep those smooth. I suggest you find a style that works with your hair, it took me 22 years to accept my hair and find a style that works, but it really makes things easier, i finally don't HATE my hair!

Get it cut into layers, either long or short ones. And use a volumizing spray, before you blow dry it upside down.

don't get so stress, don't always tie your hair esp wet hair, message your hair, or maybe apply the sap of aloe vera to your scalp (not sure this works but worth giving it a try).
I have really thin hair and i isn't getting any thicker, HELP!?
What are you doing to make it thicker. There are many things that could be happening. You could have low nutrition and your body is suffering from it and taking it out on your hair or you have high nutrition and you just started getting the nutrition you need. If that is the case then it will grow back to be thicker then it ever was before. However if you have low nutrition then I suggest eating fruits and veggies. There is a multi-vitamin pill that my hair dresser had me take to thicken up my hair, it is called hair, skin, and nails. they sell it at wal-mart. it smells like dog food but after a while you get used to the smell. for the first week or so or taking it you might get sleepy. that is because your body isn't used to having so much good stuff being put into it. you could also be over processing it which means that you have dyed it and fried with blow dyers, straighteners, etc. if that is the cause lay off that stuff and just put your hair up. take your hair down when you go to sleep though so it can breathe. yeah your hair needs to breathe too.

How to make thick hair thin????
I always ask my stylist to thin mine out whenever I get a trim. My hair is really thick and will poof out if I don't get it thinned out. They will use either a razor or a pair of thinning shears to do it. As far as products go, honestly, nothing is really going to thin out your hair. They may claim to, but none of them really will.

Get a haircut from your stylist and ask them to use a razor - it's not a scary leg shaving razor, it's a type of hair cutting utensil that makes thick hair lay nicely.

+my budget is 40$.
+1 inch straightener or 2 inch straightener?!
+what brand? (revlon, reminton etc.)
+ where can i buy it?
:D
Which type of hair straightener would be best for short/medium/long thin hair? what brand %26amp;1 inch or 2 inch?
Get a Remington brand that is teflon coated! It is the ceramic plates that heat the best and most evenly but the teflon coating saves your hair from damage. The one inch is best to manage smaller sections or just individual parts i.e. bed head. The one inch is easier to manage just bangs or curve ends under a bit also. Target is the best source!
Which type of hair straightener would be best for short/medium/long thin hair? what brand %26amp;1 inch or 2 inch?
You really don't want to buy anything under 40 dollars. You should try to spend a bit more when it comes to your hair. If you go with a cheap one, they're usually made out of metal and will fry your hair. You should go with a 1 inch straightener, that's made with ceramic plates, they straighten your hair by using magnetic ions. I would buy one online at Amazon.com I would look for a CHI or a GHD.
Which type of hair straightener would be best for short/medium/long thin hair? what brand %26amp;1 inch or 2 inch?
if you have naturally straight hair you probably dont need a heavy duty straightener. i revlon or conair from like Target would probably do the trick. A smaller straightener like a 1 inch would also be better if all you need is to touch up a little.
hope i helped
good luck!
Which type of hair straightener would be best for short/medium/long thin hair? what brand %26amp;1 inch or 2 inch?
Well for that budget, definitely get the Remington Wet 2 Straight flat iron, which you can by at Target, Walmart, Ulta, basically everywhere that sell a wide variety of flat irons. I'm pretty sure it's 40 bucks, if not, it's cheaper. And if you have short hair, then you want a one inch flat iron. If it's longer than above your shoulder, then you want a 2 inch.

Two questions about hair nutrition and hair coloring?
1. I'm losing toooooooo much hair everyday, I eat lots of fruet and still losing hair. do you think I should take some vitamins? what vitamins exactly?
2. my hair is thin (become thin). what hair color do you think would make it look thicker, a dark color or a light one?
my natural hair color is medium brown. I was going to dye it dark brown or black.
thanks in advance!!
Two questions about hair nutrition and hair coloring?
if you are losing hair the worst thing you can do is die it, but there are doctors out there that can help and even health web sites that you can ask questions like this on, there's also vitamins for this problem in the stores.best of luck
Two questions about hair nutrition and hair coloring?
Any chemical treatment, dye, perm, etc., will add stress to your hair. A dark color will contrast too much with your scalp and make your hair look thinner. Be conserative and have some highlighting done which will add depth. Also, get a cut above the collar to reduce the pull on your hair. Be sure to use a good quality shampoo, conditioner and other hair products.
Biotin is a good dietary supplement for hair. Be aware though you are not going to get instant results from it but you're likely to see a difference in several months. Remember this is working from the inside out. As a bonus, you'll probably find you also have stronger nails.
Two questions about hair nutrition and hair coloring?
The healthiest thing you can do for your hair is wear its natural color. The are some vitamins you can purchase online: Samson Secret. It is the organic solution for all kinds of hair and hair problems.
I have somewhat thin hair and i can never realy find any thing cute to do with it ?
u can put curling rods on it to curl it..it will make ur hair look shorter but it will make it fuller..u can do it wet or dry..wet--u can use styling gel or setting lotion and sit under the dryer for 1 to 2 hours...dry--u can put them in and leave them in overnight...wet or dry--when u take them out pull them downward and they will unravel from the rod..and then u pull them apart by teasing it with ur fingers or a rattail comb..as u pull them apart u should mist them with some hair spritz..but make sure u dont use too much(spray at a distance)...Also u should avoid applying heat to ur hair..and u may want to reconsider ur shampoos and conditioners--oh and i hope ur a girl lol

I reckon theres loads you could do- go for sleek looks i.e. perfectly groomed pony-tails etc, really neat yet complex looking styles (like french plaits/different kinds of buns) would also work.
If you want more volume use some mousse- works a treat!
